How It Works

Several Siftek™ membrane configurations are possible following the nature of the chemicals in presence and the process conditions used. One typical arrangement involves tapping the distillation column overheads in order to break the azetrope and dehydrate chemical compounds to the level of purity required. Additional advantages of Siftek™ include distillation column debottlenecking, plant overall expansion and overall process simplification.
